Learning, Growing, and Changing the World Together @ MSMUN

Feb. 2, 2024

My time at the MSMUN conferences was incredible! The venue at the UN office in Nairobi had me a bit nervous initially, but that feeling vanished when I saw everyone chatting and getting into the groove. The atmosphere was super welcoming, and I quickly felt like part of the crew. Meeting people from all over was one of the coolest parts. Whether we were grabbing snacks or hanging out during breaks, there was this awesome sense of friendship and teamwork. Deep conversations about various perspectives made me realise how much I could learn from others.

Working together on projects was a highlight. Despite having different ideas, it was amazing to see how we all came together to make things happen. It felt like we were part of this big team tackling important issues. However, the real excitement kicked in during the debates. Things got intense as we stood up for our beliefs and tried to find solutions to global problems. It wasn't just about arguing; it was about finding common ground and working together to make a difference. Looking back, I'm grateful for the chance to be part of such an amazing experience. The MSMUN conferences weren't just about learning; they were about growing, making friends, and realising that we all have the power to change the world, no matter how young we are.
