Fantastic Football from the U7s!

On Friday, 8th May 2026, the Braeburn Under 7 mixed football team travelled to Brookhouse School Runda for an exciting football festival featuring 18 schools from across Nairobi. The atmosphere was full of energy and enthusiasm as the young players prepared for a fantastic afternoon of football.
Braeburn was placed in a challenging Pool A alongside Brookhouse Runda, St. Christopher's School, Oshwal Academy, Durham International School, and Woodcreek School. The team showed great teamwork, determination, and confidence throughout all five matches, remaining unbeaten during the tournament.
The players began strongly with an impressive 2–1 victory over the hosts, Brookhouse Runda, before securing another exciting 2–1 win against St. Christopher’s. Two hard-fought goalless draws followed against Oshwal Academy and Durham, with the team displaying excellent defending and teamwork. Braeburn finished the festival on a high with a narrow but deserved 1–0 victory over Woodcreek School.
Winning three matches and drawing two was a fantastic achievement for the team. The players represented the school brilliantly, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, resilience, and enthusiasm throughout the day. Well done to all the children for their outstanding effort and teamwork.
