Braeburn Victorious @ U13 KAISSO Football Tournament

On Saturday, September 28, the U13 boys participated in the KAISSO Football Tournament held at Braeburn Nanyuki. The tournament started off slowly for our team, losing the first game 1-0 to St. Austin’s. They then faced tough competition, drawing 0-0 against Woodcreek and Rusinga in the next two matches.
However, the boys bounced back with a strong performance, defeating both Braeside and Premier with a solid 3-0 scoreline. They finished the pool games with a narrow 1-0 victory against Crawford, securing their place in the knockout stage.
In the semi-finals, our team faced St. Christopher’s and triumphed in a tense penalty shootout to earn a spot in the finals. The final was a re-match of our first game of the tournament against St. Austin’s, and the boys rose to the occasion, winning in a penalty shootout once again to lift the KAISSO 2024 U13 trophy!
A special congratulations to Yonatan, who was awarded the top goal scorer of the tournament, and to Karim, who was named the Most Valuable Player. Well done Braeburn!
